California trip

Ok I left work at 2pm on Tuesday and drove to Amy's house and got there about 5pm. I ran into some rain and heavy traffic when I got into Virginia. Me and Amy went to Ulta when I got there to buy some last minute things. When we got back to Amy's Rich was there and Jennifer and Shawn arrived shortly after. We went to a Deli for dinner and it was so good. My sandwich was about 3 inches tall with meat. Then we went to a store, I don't remember the name but it had upscale merchandise for a lower price. I got a pair of my Not Your Daughter jeans for $50 and I usually pay over $100 for them. They are the best, they tuck your tummy and lift your hinney. We then went home and went to bed. I got up at 3:45 am on Wednesday, the alarm was
set for 4:00 so I got up before the alarm. I got into the shower and made room for Jennifer and Shawn to get ready. We had coffee and then off to the airport. Rich dropped us off and we went
in and checked in and went thru security, no problems. We went and got a little breakfast and then we boarded the plane, it was a none stop flight to San Fransisco Jennifer bought us a movie and we saw Mall Cop. It was sooooo funny. We didn't get to sleep we just were so excited. We saw snow on the mountains over Colorado and Utha. Went we got to San Fransisco we got the rental car and off to Petaluma. Petaluma is where American Graffiti was filmed. More to come.

Getting ready

So I have worked all week and today I worked til 5pm so I thought it would be a good day to get some shopping done for the California trip, so I went to Kohls and found some tops on clearance and I need so new undergarments since the ones I've been wearing are several years old. Now I have tomorrow morning and Monday after work to get the rest done.

So much to do.

So today was my only day off before our beach vacation that I won't be in California. I need a hair cut a pedicure, I need to go shopping for clothes, cuz mine don't fit. I need to do this before California not to mention the beach. My assistant gave me a gift certificate for a facial and a blow dry and style at an expensive salon cuz she didn't want it and she won it at a fund raiser.

Hot weather

Yesterday it was in the 80's and I was at a flea market with my best friend from Virginia. I met her at her hotel off the turnpike and we went to breakfast and then off to the flea market. A lot of the vendors liked there stuff to much. I found a beautiful crab pin to wear at the crab carnival. I also bought a sewing cabinet that opens out and has 8 places to keep my yarn. Today is my last day off that I will be home before we go to the beach. I will be off the 6th, 7th and 8th but I will be in California, then my next day off will be when we are traveling to Virginia. I don't know how I'm going to get everything together, I will have to utilize John to help. John received a tip last week of a big slab of Veal from a farmer. That was a nice tip.

Going to California

So my brother and two sisters called me today. I was at work on my day off because I had a visit from the regional pharmacy manager. We were last stop so I worked from 9-4 on my day off. So back to all of the phone calls, We are going to an Oakland A's baseball game while we are in California. Its going to be a great time. We have to pay $15 a bag to check but it is worth it because I didn't know how in the world I was going to pack in a carry on. I can't wait we are going to have a blast.

Annual Review and California Trip

I will be spending my 40th birthday in California with my 2 sisters. I can't wait, we are going to have a blast. I had my review on Thursday and I got a overall score of Competent. Thats all I
ever get and I think thats what they give to everybody unless you are really bad at your job and then you get a needs improvement.

San Francisco

Hello all, Hopefully I will be going to San Francisco in two weeks from tomorrow. I have to wait for my DM to say I can take a vacation Day because we will be gone for 3 days. So now I just realized that if I take a vacation day I have to cut my beach vacation a day short. I will ask my boss if I work 7 days the week before can I take 3 days off the next week. I also went to a meeting on my last vacation so he really owes me a day. I don't want to cut my vacation at the beach short. Hopefully he will work with me. I have to let Amy know tomorrow. This is a once in a lifetime chance for me to see California.
