First Day of Vacation

Saturday night John asked me what time did I want to go fishing and I said 4am. Well that is what time we would get up to go. So I went to bed at 10pm so I could get up at 4am. So we got up at 4ish and got everything together and the boat ready and so we left at 5am and got to the lake at 6am, we went to Speedwell Forge in Lancaster County. We were the first ones on the lake. I fished for a while and then layed out for a while and I actually fell asleep and was snoring. The boat seems to rock me to sleep. So when we got home we both fell asleep and when we woke up we went and got Chinese food. Its supposed to be a hot one today. I don't know what I'm going to do. I need to clean the bedroom and do some laundry. I'll have to get started soon while it is not so hot.

Vacation

So I worked today until 4pm. I got alot of work done that I don't think would get done while I'm gone. There was a note for me that my boss came in again last night and he said he wanted to talk to me. So I called him today and he said no he just wanted to see me. Weird. So now I'm on vacation and I am starting something new. I am going to walk everynight. Me and John are going to dinner and then walk around the track at Gap. I want to do it everyday. We will see how that goes. I need to do something or I'm not going to fit into those Crab Pants in a month and a half. Wow we only have a month and a half until we go to the beach. Sweet. I can't wait. This week I plan on cleaning cleaning and cleaning, here again we'll see how that goes.

like pulling teeth

So yesterday my boss came back from his vacation, so I sent him an email asking him if he would approve the overtime needed for my assistants to cover the store while I'm on vacation. And he answered how much overtime and is the store ready for vacation. So I answered 21 hours and I think the store is ready. So I didn't hear anything so today I called him and asked him if the overtime is approved and he asked again how much overtime and I told him and he asked me if I called to get help and I said no, he said why, I said because you told me you would get me help. So then he said I don't do that it is up to you to get coverage. I couldn't find the email where he said maybe he could get me coverage. So I had to call another store to recruit help and I did so I'm going on vacation. So then my husband calls his friend and makes fishing trip arrangements for Sunday and I'm off so I would like to go fishing but I guess I will sit at home and do nothing.
I should of just worked and saved my vacation.

Mammogram update

So yesterday I received a letter from the hospital saying I need to come back so they can take
more images. I'm going to call tomorrow and see if I can get an appointment on Tuesday. Yesterday when I got home John wanted to go to Bass Pro Shop so he finished cutting the grass and we went to Harrisburg. While he was in Bass Pro Shop me and him mom went to Macy's. I bought a pair of shorts and a tank top and a blouse. We went back to the Bass Pro shop to meet John and we got on an elevator to go down to the first floor and the doors didn't open when it got down there. Then we started heading back up, when the doors opened I told the people waiting that the doors didn't open when we got down there. So we went to the elevator inside the Bass store. John got a fishing rod and some tackle. We went to an Italian restaurant for dinner and it was so good. When we got home it started to rain. We were planning on going fishing today (Sunday), when John's alarm went off this morning it was raining very hard. So I went back to sleep, I got up at about 9am. I needed to sleep in since I work open to close tomorrow and Wednesday and open Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We got out on the water about 1:30 and we stayed out for several hours. When we were coming in we could here thunder, we got off the water and got the boat all hooked up to the trailer and the lights connected and all of a sudden the wind picked up and there were white caps on the lake. Then the rain came and the lightening, wow it was awsome. We sat in the car until it slowed down and the road out of the park was littered with tree limbs. We also saw a big tree limb on a house.

First Mammogram

So today I had my first mammogram and it wasn't bad at all. Tomorrow I will drive to Seaford DE for a Doctors appointment. I was hoping John wouldn't have to work so he could ride with me but thats ok, I will be down there before I know it and back home too. John's mother is coming home tomorrow so no more eating out for a week or so before she leaves again for Atlanta. I can't decide if I want to take a vacation in two weeks or not. I had asked off to go to the beach August 16th but we arn't going now so I need to decide if I want to take the time off and do some stuff around the house. I've been enjoying my beer I bought a couple of weeks ago and my new game for the WII.

Nice day off

So my car's gas gauge went up to full Friday night and then my assistants husband came with his car computer sensor thing to see why the check engine light was on and it said overflow gas sensor. He cleared the check engine light. Today me and John went fishing and we each caught 2 1/2 fish each. I laid out for a while and actually fell asleep for a while. It is so relaxing there. I read some of my book Forever Odd and I can't put it down. I read Odd Thomas and it was the same way. But it makes me sleepy and I fall asleep even though I want to read. So I off tomorrow also, maybe I will get out to Tuesday Morning for those sheets and to TJ Maxx or Marshal's or Ross for some tableclothes. I bought some running shoes for playing softball. I have to call Maryanne and tell her that I'm going to play on the team with them. She works for the Downingtown Post Office and it is there team but they needed some more female players. I haven't decided if I'm going to take the vacation in August or not. John can't that week because there is someone else on vacation at his job that week. So if I do take it I will be doing stuff around the house and maybe we will go somewhere on the weekends.

So this morning I only had about an 1/8th of a tank of gas and I don't usually go under a 1/4 of a tank so I stopped by the gas station on my way to work and pumped a full tank of gas. When I got back into the car and started driving I noticed that the gas gauge only went up to were it was before I got the gas. I was like what the hell. So when I got to work I turned the car off and back on again hoping that it would reset its self but it didn't. So I went to the bank and then the check engine light came on and the out of gas light came on. So I didn't want to get on the highway to come home and run out of gas, so I stopped at the gas station and I had to force $2 in the tank so it is full. So I guess my day off Monday will be at the dealership.
