: shopping

So today I got up took a shower, waited for John to get back from Physical therapy and then we went shopping, we started at Walmart and we got alot done there. We got all of the children done except Davian done there. We also bought a new trash can by simple human it is a nice stainless steel one. Then we went to Target but they didn't have what I was looking for so we went to Best Buy and got Davians gift and then to Radio Shack and go another gift and then to the Amish Stuff store and got another gift. So wala I'm done. I went to my work and made gift tags on the photo kisok and they are so cute. I took the picture of Daddy dressed as Santa holding Aptiva and Pika and put it on these gift tags and put To: and From: they turned out so good. I will make the rest when I'm at work on Saturday. So I'm supposed to be off tomorrow but if my assistants daughter has her baby then I will have to go in and open. Tomorrow is my last day off before Christmas. I have asked off for the weekend after Christmas but my boss didn't answer me via email so I guess he is going to tell me in person which means he might say yes. If he was going to say no he would say it in the email. He can't say yes via email cuz then he is probably afraid I will tell everyone and he will have to give everyone off. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I picked my sister in-laws name for Christmas and I got her one thing and I'm going to get a visa giftcard for the rest, that way she can get whatever she wants. I'm also going to get Annies two boys visa giftcards so they can use it anywhere.

It's almost Christmas

So its the 9th of December. I work tonight and I have alot of work to do because I'm off the next 2 days and I would really like to take them off since I only have 1 day off next week. I have to finish my shopping this week, because the next week is Christmas and I only have Christmas day off. I'm going to ask my boss if I can have off the Saturday after but I don't think he is going to say yes. But I can ask right? I'm trying to get John to help me pick out Christmas presents for his grandchildren. I ordered a book from amazon and I haven't gotten it yet. Its for a Christmas present and if I don't get it I have to get something else to replace it. I think I scared the heck out of John the other night. I told him he needed to record the book for his grandchildren that I bought from Hallmark. He even mailed it yesterday. I work Saturday night and Sunday night and Wednesday night and Thursday night next week. Man who the heck is the boss here.

trying not to be mad

So after John had his accident he told me he would never tell me no again. Well he tells me no all the time. He must of wanted to look good to someone when he said this. I ask him to go with me places and he says no. I say lets go somewhere for dinner, he says no. I ask if I can have Sandras dog cuz she has to give it away and he says no. No NO NO thats all I hear. Well we bought a Christmas tree. It is thin and 5 foot tall, and I got some cute garland and little mittens to put on it. I tryed to put light around the trunk but it didn't work like I wanted. Today I have to work tonight and I'm going to get my nails done. Tomorrow I'm off and it is John's birthday so we are going to meet Annie in King of Prussia for lunch and maybe some shopping. We found these cool trash cans last night at Reading China and Glass and John really liked them. I'm having some craziness at work. My District manager is giving me an assistant and I can't afford anyone else, so I had to cut to the bare bottom and add her to the schedule. I'm supposed to be promoting Rose from the pharmacy and he told me to put her on hold. I talked to her about it and she wasn't happy, which I don't blame her but I have a chance to get someone that knows what to do already instead of having to train someone. Also I have an assistant that wants to get transfered to another store. She had offended some of my associates and my District manager had to come and talk to her and now she said she isn't comfortable working here anymore. I'm also open 10 extra hours the week of 12-13 to 12-19 and I only got 8 extra hours to run the store. We are going to be open till 11pm and the pharmacy closes at 10 and I have to have at least 2 people in the store because it is too dangerous to only have 1 person by themselves.

November all ready

Ok I'm not going to bore you with the hospital story, It was a while ago and John is doing very well. Next week he will be driving himself to his doctor appointments. So a little over a week ago we bought a 50 inch tv and rearranged the entire living room. I still need a home for all of my gnomes. I think we need a new receiver for the surround sound. We are thinking about buying one that is a receiver/blue ray player. Its sounds really good when I play my guitar hero. I want to have a guitar hero party, doesn't that sound fun. We got our Holiday season hours for the store today. Listen to this crap. Thanksgiving 9-5 pharmacy 9-3. The day after Thanksgiving 7am to 10pm pharmacy 8-10. December 13-23 8am to 11pm even Sundays. Pharmacy regular hours. Christmas eve 7am to 9pm. New Years Eve and Day regular hours. By the way Pharmacy is the normal hours except New years Eve and Day but I'm sure that will change. So I'm off the next two days, I will probably regret it but I like spending time with John. Tomorrow my car is getting breaks and tires. I need to go pick up my diamond tomorrow or Wednesday, I must of hit it on something because the prongs were bent and the lady at the jewelry store said it was loose.

Day two in the hospital

I got up really early and got to the hospital so I could see John before he went for his CT scan but we were not able to be in his room until 12:30. Amy called me and asked if they should come to visit and I said that is a long way to come and she said they wanted to come. So they made the long drive up Amy, Rich and Alfredo. It was so nice of them to do that for me. I would have gone insane if I didn't have them and Johns sister there with me. They didn't feed John until 4pm because they had to make sure he didn't need surgury. We left him at 8:30 when we got kicked out of his room because visiting hours were over and they were moving him into the step down unit. We came back at 11am on Thursday because that is visiting hours and he was sitting up in a chair. It was a wonderful site to see him sitting not laying flat in a bed. He walked the halls and sat in a waiting room visiting with my parents and Jennifer and Billy that drove 5 hours to get there. It was so nice of them to come. It made me feel good to have family around. Annie came for a few hours also and brought John some candy. Momma brought him cookies. We got him coffee when we could. We left at 8pm and I put him to bed. I told him I was going to work for a while on Friday since I couldn't see him until 11am. So he texted me on Friday morning and said he was being released at 9am. I found him in the cafeteria. I was not pleased that they let a head injury patient leave the hospital all by themselves. More to come

Its been a long time

So I know its been a long time since I posted but alot has happened. The last time I posted I got a call from the hospital saying that John was in the hospital and he was going to be staying there overnight. So after I stopped hyperventalating me and Johns mother went to the hospital. I got to the ER and asked a lady that worked there to take me to my husband so she helped me find him. Before I was able to see him a nurse gave me some info, she told me that John had a fractured skull and bleeding on the brain. I broke down crying and then she told me I needed to calm down so I could go in to see him. She said he was cracking jokes and was doing ok. So we went into the glassed in respiratory room where he was lying on a table with his arm over his eyes. His head hurt so bad and they hadn't given him anything for the pain or it wasn't working. They took him up to the Shock Trauma Intensive Care unit of the hospital and we were able to come along with him up to his room. The nurse asked him and me alot of questions about his health. John started to get tired so I needed to decide if I was going to spend the night or not. I asked his nurse if I could stay the night and he said not in his room only in the waiting room. So I asked if I could check on him during the night and the nurse said just pick up the phone at the door. So it was getting late and John was going to sleep and I made the decision to go home and come back in the morning.

Getting ready for the Crab Carnival

Well Its 10am and I've been up for an hour and I need to be sewing today. I'm getting everything in place, the ironing board, the sewing machine, the music, the room temperature. The last is very important, If I get too hot I won't do any sewing and with the iron on all day it will be pretty warm. I have the dogs running around me wondering why I'm home and upstairs with them today. I've also started setting things aside for packing for the beach. The house provides linens and I think towels, I have to check again, but I'm taking some incase there isn't enough. Sometimes I might take a shower in the morning and go shopping or something and then get in the ocean or pool and take another shower later in the day, so I will need more towels. Also If they only provide one per person that just won't be enough, we do have two sets of washing machines and dryers though but who wants to be washing towels all the time. Ok so I must sew now.

Long Day

So I got up this morning at 2:30am and got to work at 3:50am and the truck wasn't there yet, which is not a good sign. So I went in the store and at 4am the phone rang and it was the warehouse saying the truck driver was going to be 2 hours late. Good grief I was pissed. What the hell am I going to do for 2 hours. So I did the deposit and hung some signs from the ceiling for a program that starts tomorrow. And then it was 5:40am and the truck was pulling up. So I opened the stockroom door and had the driver pull out all my pallets to the parking lot so I could wrap them. So before I could get any pallets seperated Judy was coming in. So I had her work on a stack of totes until I could get more on the salesfloor, then Deb came in and they worked on putting out the merchandise while I seperated the 9 pallets we received. We got it all put away except the food by 2:30pm and I bought some papertowels to take to the beach and some hand soap for the bathrooms for the beach. And then I drove to West Chester to get my car emissions rechecked because it failed the other day and today it passed. I drove home went upstairs and climbed into bed. I slept for a while and John woke me up and we went to dinner. Tomorrow I'm off and John is going fishing with his friend so I don't know what I will do. I'm so tired I will probably sleep.

Saturday Truck

So I was off Tuesday and I went to the bank to get a cashiers check to send to the realitor for the beach house and I went to get my car inspected. Wednesday and Thursday I worked from 7:30am to 10:30pm and today I worked from 7:30 to 5:30 and I have to be back there at 4am to unload my truck. We had to send back all of the summer stuff so I had to put the pallets close together in the stockroom in order to fit them in there and I have to get the driver to pull them out into the parking lot tomorrow morning and I will have to wrap them. I don't have a pallet jack so I can't move the pallets around after I fill them. I'm off on Sunday but John has already made plans with his fishing friend, so I don't know what I will do on Sunday. I have to go to bed now to get up at 2:30am.

Holiday weekend.

Friday night I got home from work and cleaned the spare bedrooms to get ready for Steve and Vicky to come for a visit. John was outside finishing up his boat trolling motor installation so he could go out Saturday morning. So I was exhausted and went to bed, got up Saturday morning and John had slept in the chair in his computer room, so he didn't go fishing. I went to work and he went grocery shopping and cut the grass. Steve, Vicky, Andrea and David got her about 3:30 and we caught up and had Spaghetti for dinner and then went for a walk at the school track, where they all said how quiet it was out there. Then we all went for ice cream. Sunday morning we got up and everyone got ready and went to the lake, John took the boat and him and Steve and David went out on it and us girls sat around visiting with Annie and Maddie that came to join us. It was a beautiful day. So then everyone was getting hungry so we left and came home for some sandwiches. I cracked open the pickles that my brother gave me when I was home, they are his cucumbers and someone pickled them for him, they were so good. After dinner me and John went to the track to walk. The rest of the night was watching tv and I went to bed because I had to get up to go to work Monday (Labor Day) So this morning I got up went to work and was there by myself until 10 when the pharmacy opened. I didn't have a customer until 9am, an hour after we opened. Our freezers broke so we lost all of our ice cream, frozen foods and Ice. It always happens on a holiday. I got off work at 1:30 and came home and me and John went out on the boat. We had a wonderful time, we fished, I napped, I woke up and had to use the bathroom, so John drove me over to the porta potty and then we fished some more. When we were leaving and getting the boat secure, John opened a soda and handed it to me, I was thinking he was sharing but no I was supposed to be a can holder, because I put it down on the precious boat and he said I could of done that, so I thought to myself, yes you could and I got in the truck. Well we will see If I go out on the boat anymore.

Getting closer to the beach

So I'm off today, I haven't had a day off since last Wednesday when I had to go back for more mammograms, which came out ok and I'm good for another year. Thank goodness. I also went out to lunch with my friend Anne Marie and her daughter Christina, we went to Olive Garden. It was delicious. When I got home John was home and his new trolling motor had arrived. He was cutting the grass. Then we went to dinner at Chili's. I can't remember if we walked that night. We walked last night and Saturday night. It is alot cooler today and yesterday. Nice walking weather. Today I need to do some laundry today. I have some clothes in the dryer that I keep turning the drier on to get the wrinkles out and I forget to get them out. Yesterday after I got out of the shower the water pressure dropped alot. I didn't know what had happened so I texted John. Well when John got home the basement was filled with 3 inches of water. The hose going outside had broken and water was pouring out. We have a well so I'm glad it didn't go dry. Also my hairdryer broke yesterday morning. So after our walk we went to Walmart to get John some boots since his were soaking wet and I got a hairdryer. The Walmart was packed with parents and students getting what they needed for school, since it started yesterday up here. Today I need to cut the grass for John so he can work on putting the new trolling motor on the boat when he is home. Hopefully we will go out on Sunday. So after this week my truck day moves to Saturday, I asked my boss to change it but I haven't heard anything. So this means I can't go home for Shelby's birthday party and I may not be able to do my Crab Carnival. I'm going to ask my assistants if It would be ok if I miss 2 truck days but I'm going to have to assess the next few truck days to make my dicision. I have to go to my store today to approve the cigarette count, which is good because John's mother has called for the Rover bus to pick her up and the passengers get upset when the bus picks up people with cars in the driveway. She has to go get her glasses fixed, Maddie tried to get them and they got bent. I work open to close tomorrow so I better enjoy today huh.

First Day of Vacation

Saturday night John asked me what time did I want to go fishing and I said 4am. Well that is what time we would get up to go. So I went to bed at 10pm so I could get up at 4am. So we got up at 4ish and got everything together and the boat ready and so we left at 5am and got to the lake at 6am, we went to Speedwell Forge in Lancaster County. We were the first ones on the lake. I fished for a while and then layed out for a while and I actually fell asleep and was snoring. The boat seems to rock me to sleep. So when we got home we both fell asleep and when we woke up we went and got Chinese food. Its supposed to be a hot one today. I don't know what I'm going to do. I need to clean the bedroom and do some laundry. I'll have to get started soon while it is not so hot.

Vacation

So I worked today until 4pm. I got alot of work done that I don't think would get done while I'm gone. There was a note for me that my boss came in again last night and he said he wanted to talk to me. So I called him today and he said no he just wanted to see me. Weird. So now I'm on vacation and I am starting something new. I am going to walk everynight. Me and John are going to dinner and then walk around the track at Gap. I want to do it everyday. We will see how that goes. I need to do something or I'm not going to fit into those Crab Pants in a month and a half. Wow we only have a month and a half until we go to the beach. Sweet. I can't wait. This week I plan on cleaning cleaning and cleaning, here again we'll see how that goes.

like pulling teeth

So yesterday my boss came back from his vacation, so I sent him an email asking him if he would approve the overtime needed for my assistants to cover the store while I'm on vacation. And he answered how much overtime and is the store ready for vacation. So I answered 21 hours and I think the store is ready. So I didn't hear anything so today I called him and asked him if the overtime is approved and he asked again how much overtime and I told him and he asked me if I called to get help and I said no, he said why, I said because you told me you would get me help. So then he said I don't do that it is up to you to get coverage. I couldn't find the email where he said maybe he could get me coverage. So I had to call another store to recruit help and I did so I'm going on vacation. So then my husband calls his friend and makes fishing trip arrangements for Sunday and I'm off so I would like to go fishing but I guess I will sit at home and do nothing.
I should of just worked and saved my vacation.

Mammogram update

So yesterday I received a letter from the hospital saying I need to come back so they can take
more images. I'm going to call tomorrow and see if I can get an appointment on Tuesday. Yesterday when I got home John wanted to go to Bass Pro Shop so he finished cutting the grass and we went to Harrisburg. While he was in Bass Pro Shop me and him mom went to Macy's. I bought a pair of shorts and a tank top and a blouse. We went back to the Bass Pro shop to meet John and we got on an elevator to go down to the first floor and the doors didn't open when it got down there. Then we started heading back up, when the doors opened I told the people waiting that the doors didn't open when we got down there. So we went to the elevator inside the Bass store. John got a fishing rod and some tackle. We went to an Italian restaurant for dinner and it was so good. When we got home it started to rain. We were planning on going fishing today (Sunday), when John's alarm went off this morning it was raining very hard. So I went back to sleep, I got up at about 9am. I needed to sleep in since I work open to close tomorrow and Wednesday and open Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We got out on the water about 1:30 and we stayed out for several hours. When we were coming in we could here thunder, we got off the water and got the boat all hooked up to the trailer and the lights connected and all of a sudden the wind picked up and there were white caps on the lake. Then the rain came and the lightening, wow it was awsome. We sat in the car until it slowed down and the road out of the park was littered with tree limbs. We also saw a big tree limb on a house.

First Mammogram

So today I had my first mammogram and it wasn't bad at all. Tomorrow I will drive to Seaford DE for a Doctors appointment. I was hoping John wouldn't have to work so he could ride with me but thats ok, I will be down there before I know it and back home too. John's mother is coming home tomorrow so no more eating out for a week or so before she leaves again for Atlanta. I can't decide if I want to take a vacation in two weeks or not. I had asked off to go to the beach August 16th but we arn't going now so I need to decide if I want to take the time off and do some stuff around the house. I've been enjoying my beer I bought a couple of weeks ago and my new game for the WII.

Nice day off

So my car's gas gauge went up to full Friday night and then my assistants husband came with his car computer sensor thing to see why the check engine light was on and it said overflow gas sensor. He cleared the check engine light. Today me and John went fishing and we each caught 2 1/2 fish each. I laid out for a while and actually fell asleep for a while. It is so relaxing there. I read some of my book Forever Odd and I can't put it down. I read Odd Thomas and it was the same way. But it makes me sleepy and I fall asleep even though I want to read. So I off tomorrow also, maybe I will get out to Tuesday Morning for those sheets and to TJ Maxx or Marshal's or Ross for some tableclothes. I bought some running shoes for playing softball. I have to call Maryanne and tell her that I'm going to play on the team with them. She works for the Downingtown Post Office and it is there team but they needed some more female players. I haven't decided if I'm going to take the vacation in August or not. John can't that week because there is someone else on vacation at his job that week. So if I do take it I will be doing stuff around the house and maybe we will go somewhere on the weekends.

broken car

So this morning I only had about an 1/8th of a tank of gas and I don't usually go under a 1/4 of a tank so I stopped by the gas station on my way to work and pumped a full tank of gas. When I got back into the car and started driving I noticed that the gas gauge only went up to were it was before I got the gas. I was like what the hell. So when I got to work I turned the car off and back on again hoping that it would reset its self but it didn't. So I went to the bank and then the check engine light came on and the out of gas light came on. So I didn't want to get on the highway to come home and run out of gas, so I stopped at the gas station and I had to force $2 in the tank so it is full. So I guess my day off Monday will be at the dealership.

Boring life

So I have a boring life, I work and thats about it. My husband says I need a hobby or project to do with my time. I wanted to go to see Jeff Dunham tomorrow night buy John didn't want to see the show and I don't want to go by myself so thats out. I am thinking about playing softball with a team and that would be fun and take up some time. Week nights and some Sundays. I haven't made up my mind yet. I will need to purchase some sport shoes and some clothes to play in.

Day Off

Well I'm off today and I've done laundry and thats about it. I want to go to Tuesday Morning and see if they have the 800 thread count sheets that they have on the website, and I need to go to Ulta to get some make up and I wanted to go to T J Maxx to get some tableclothes. But I didn't do any of it. I was afraid that if I left John would come home and he could go with me shopping. So it is now 3pm and he's not home and I probably won't go today. Oh well. I should of just gone. Part of me just wants to sit here on the computer and watch TV because I'm tired from working so long without a day off. I called today and had my dr.'s appointment changed to the 5th of August. So I have off Sunday and Monday. Maybe I will change Monday for another day. Sunday I would like to go out on the boat with John but the weather might not be good. Jeff Dunham is going to be at the Delaware Statefair on Friday night and I would love to go see him. Tickets are $45 plus the cost to get into the fair which I think is $5. I'm hoping that when I ask John to take me on Friday night he will. I'm not going to get my hopes up to much because I'm sure it will go this way. "Herrington Delaware, that is too far away on a Friday night after work. I don't think he is that funny to drive all the way down there to see him. " I will check back and let you know how if goes.

two weeks

Its been two weeks since I had a day off and that day was spent in the car for half of it traveling back from Virginia. So I've been contemplating going to California with Amy again. The tickets are $99 each way and we would leave on Tuesday morning and come back on the red eye Saturday night which means arriving at Amy's Sunday morning. I have a vacation scheduled for August 16th thru the 23rd because we were going to the Outer Banks because my sister in-law won a weeks rental in Coralla but because she wasn't going to be staying at the house she go written up at work and gave the rental back. John won't go with us and I don't want to leave him home alone so I decided to stay at home. I haven't decided whether to take the time off and do some housework or just work and take the time off some other time. We are also looking at beach houses for October and we need to find out how many people are going so we can get the right size house. I'm looking at a 9 bedroom now but I don't know if we are going to need something that big. Steve and Vicky and Family need 4 bedrooms, then me and John and momma and daddy and John' mom, that equals 7, and then John's mom's sister said she wanted to come so we need confirmation on that and Dave and BJ and John's daughter. Ok well I'm going to bed now 14 days has taken it's toll on me and my body.

Orders

So I feel like I get ordered around by my boss, ie he doen't have a tie on, where is her name tag, whats the price of this soda, empty the trash, clean your office. Hopefully you get the point. So then I come home and its take your dogs out, it's my fault we have mice. I was home for 30 minutes and he managed to piss me off in that amount of time.

Baby Claire

Last week I had off Wednesday and I went to Rehobeth Beach to see my friend Sheila and spend the day on the beach. As I drove down, its a 2 hour drive the weather was beautiful. I ran into some wet spots on the road where it had rained before I got there but the skys were clear. I got to Sheila's and we loaded the car and stopped by Wawa to get some lunch and by time we got to the beach a storm was coming, we could hear thunder in the distance. We took our chairs down to the beach and sat and talked and then a big thunder clap happened and we jumped up and got into the car and waited it out. It was over in about 15 minutes, so then we took everything down to the beach and it was sunny for about 10 minutes and then the fog rolled in. We talked for hours and walked the beach and saw the dolphin playing in the water. It was a great day. When I got home me and John went to McDonalds for dinner and then it was off to bed for me since I had to get up at 2:30am to go to work. On Thursday I got all of the truck done at work and was out of there by 2pm and got home and John was there, he took a shower and we left for Virginia. We decided it would be best to travel 301 instead of 95 because we would hit DC at rush hour but before the HOV lanes opened for all traffic. So we drove and saw different sites than when we travel on 95 (boring). We went thru Tappahanok and the GPS sent us down some dirt road in King and Queen it was so funny. We turned around and got back on a hard surface road and made it home. I got a picture texted to me shortly after we got there and Baby Claire was born at 9:16pm weighing 6lbs 1 oz and 20 inches long. She has lots of hair, unlike all of the other children that have been born in our family. We finally went to bed when Momma got home, she was with Jennifer at the hospital all day. We got up Friday and went to the hospital to see the baby and we had Maggie with us so John took her back to see her neice and then I sat in the waiting room with her while Jennifer visited and then I went in and heald the precious little girl and got some pictures. Then we went to Ross and I got some things for the baby and some shoes for me, Jennifer and Maggie got bathing suits. We got back to West Point and we went to a new store that is very nice. The prices are great. I got a necklace and a shirt. The shirt is awsome, I can't wait to wear it. We chilled at home the rest of the day and Saturday Me Jennifer and Sandra went back to the hospital to pack up Brittany and bring her stuff home and get John something to eat and of course hold the baby. When we got home we had crab cakes for lunch, oh my goodness they were so good and then we went to Jennifers to play in the pool. Oh I forgot we had awsome chicken tenders for lunch Friday. We went home for dinner and Billy lighted some fireworks for us. Sunday it was chilli and rainy. We had a great big breakfast and after that daddy started on dinner, we had Chicken Pot Pie, WOW it was good. We left at 4 and when we got on 95 all of the lanes were full of stopped cars. Oh My we said it's going to be a long ride. We traved to Fredricksburg with traffic stopping at each exit. We got off 95 and on Rt 1 and here again we were in stop and go traffic. Finally we started moving and we got back on 95 and had no more problems. We got home in 5 hours instead of the normal 4. Not to bad for a holiday weekend. We decided we would not travel on a holiday weekend unless it is Christmas.

4th of July is coming

Hello all, Sorry it has been so long since I've written. I've been taking everyother Sunday off to spend time with John on our boat. The first Sunday I caught my first fish on a lure instead of live bait. I was excited. This last time which was Fathers Day I didn't do so good soI took a nap on the boat. I'm off this Wednesday and I'm going to see my friend Shelia in Rehobeth while she is on vacation. I haven't seen her in a long time. She lives in Boston now. Then I am off Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Yeah. The only thing is I don't know what we are going to do. I have let John decide what we are going to do. Go visit Stacie and the children, stay home and go boating or hopefully he will say go home to Virginia. If we go somewhere we can leave after work on Thrusday which means we will have the whole day Friday wherever we are going. I don't know when I will get a long weekend ever again so hopefully it is fun. Ok well off to work now. I can't wait for the short week ahead.

vacation continued

So I might of been wrong about the Monday night dinner, It could have been BBQ. On Tuesday we went to the Japanesse restaurant for lunch, it was very good. John went fishing and didn't go with us to the restaurant. We went antique shopping, I swear they have the some stuff every year. On Wednesday we hung out at the pool, and John went fishing, I think this is the day he caught 14 shark. The next day John, Billy and Mike went fishing and they all caught lots of fish and Me, Jennifer and Ashley hung out at the pool. I stayed in the shade and undercover mostly because I was burned up from the day before. I jumped in the pool and that helped with the burn. Wednesday night we went to The Black Pelican for dinner. Thursday night was Chicken pot pie. Oh my that is soooo good. Sandra, Seth and Shelby came down Wednesday evening also. Friday we all hung out at the pool. John went fishing. John and Brittney came down on Friday. We had Spagetti Friday night. We hung out at the pool and John and John went fishing Saturday. Little John caught a big fish. We ate what was left over in the fridge Saturday night. Sunday was check out so we packed up the cars and headed home. We stopped at Mel's Diner for Breakfast, it was good. We stopped in West Point to pick up the dogs and had some pizza then off to Reston to pick up John's mom, where we stayed for a while and then we headed home. We stopped in Bel Air Maryland at TGI Fridays for dinner and got home at 11pm. It was a wonderful vacation. All had a blast.

It's been a while, so here is an update

Well we went on vacation to Outer Banks. Our vacation started on Friday after work, we drove to Reston to take John's mother to his brothers for the week and then we went by Amy's in Centreville to pick up a birthday present for Ashley and a Mothers Day present for mama. Amy had made them each a money book, they were beautiful. I got to see Alfredo again and John got to meet him. He is such a sweet boy. Then off to West Point. We arrived about 11:30 ish pm. On Saturday Ashley and Mike got to West Point. We all went to get our Pedicures for the beach. I went to get my hair cut and we did a little shopping. We went to Shawn and Sandra's for dinner we had crab legs and shrimp. On Sunday we got up, had a big breakfast and then it was off to the Outer Banks. It rained the whole way down there. I drove Mama and John drove daddy and Ashley and Mike took there car and Jennifer, Billy and Maggie were in there car. So it was a 4 car motorcade. Billy at the head then Ashley then me and pulling up the rear was John. The traffic wasn't bad and we stopped at Burger King for lunch. Me and mama stayed in the car, I wasn't hungry and it was pouring rain. Oh I forgot to tell you mama had a dental mishap at Shawn's on Saturday. We tried to fix it, actually she tried all the way down to the Outer Banks, but it didn't work. So we got to the house and unloaded and it was cold and wet. We got everything put away and sheets on the beds and then ate dinner. If I remember correctly daddy fixed crab cakes for dinner. I had my first Red Bull and vodka that day. On Monday we woke up and Jennifer called the dentist and got mama an appointment for the afternoon. It was raining again so we went to the Aquarium. Daddy made ham biscuits for breakfast and we had soup for lunch and it was soooo good. I think we had Chilli for dinner.

Our last day in California

We woke up and Jennifer and Shawn went to get us coffee and danish at the 7-eleven down the street. We all got ready and packed our suitcases for our checkout of the hotel. We went to get Alfredo and then headed to Pt. Reyes. We drove thur the most beautiful places I've ever seen before we stopped by Omars uncles where he is a ranch hand at a dairy ranch. Then off to the lighthouse. Shawn was driving and at one point the road was up on this mountain and there was clifts and ocean and I was sliding down under the dash board. And then Jennifer yells let me out I can't do this. So Shawn stopped the car and she got out, the wind was blowing and it was very cold, and the cows are not in fences were she was. So Shawn stopped the car and we could see her head coming up over the hill and so we backed up and picked her up. We were laughing so hard. Then we got to the top and we had to walk .4 miles to the lighthouse, Shawn was toooo cold so me and Jennifer walked to the lighthouse and it was down alot of stairs so we didn't go down them we just stayed up on top of the mountain. There was a sign that said walking the steps is like going down 30 flights of stairs. We took lots of pictures and as soon as John gets them on the computer I will post them. We then drove back and stopped at the resturant that Omar works at and had a wonderful lunch. Then we got back to Peteluma and did some shopping. I went into a wonder Yarn shop but didn't buy any. I know I can't believe it either but I have so many projects now I can't buy anymore yarn. Then we went back to Omar's so the family could say good bye to Alfredo. Then off to the airport. I slept on the plane just about the whole time. Now we are getting ready to go to the beach with the family. I can't wait to be there and just relax and have fun. Thanks Amy for the best time of my life.

California trip part II

We drove to Petaluma and crossed the Golden Gate Bridge, it was foggy so we didn't see much that day. We stopped and ate some lunch and then went to Omar's school to see Alfredo and meet Omar's principal and Alfredo's nursery school teachers. Then off to Omar's house and we waited for his parents so we could meet them but we were soooooo tired so we left and went to dinner (Alfredo cried when Amy left him) We checked into the hotel (Bed and Breakfast) and they had miss understood when Amy called for the reservation so we had to wait until our suite was ready. They tried to put us in a room with a queen bed and a double bed but that would have meant that Me, Jennifer and Amy sleep in the same bed. So everything got worked out and we walked to a restaurant (Central Market) if was wonderful. Then Shawn and Jennifer went back to the room to sleep and me and Amy went back to Omar's to meet his parents. They were wonderful. We got back to the room at about midnight east coast time. We slept very well and got up at 5am west coast time so nothing was open. We all got into one bed and watched TV and talked and Shawn walked to 7-eleven and got us coffee. We all got ready and went to get Omar for the game. Omar drove us to the Oakland game and we sat in the 5th row. It was hot and I got sun burn on my face and arms. Omar then took us into Sanfransisco, we shopped and saw the Sea lions and Alcatraz. We got back to Omar's house and his mom made us Anchalatas and they were soo good. It was also Omar's brother Ivin's birthday so we had cake (it was also my birthday) stay tuned for our third day.

California trip

Ok I left work at 2pm on Tuesday and drove to Amy's house and got there about 5pm. I ran into some rain and heavy traffic when I got into Virginia. Me and Amy went to Ulta when I got there to buy some last minute things. When we got back to Amy's Rich was there and Jennifer and Shawn arrived shortly after. We went to a Deli for dinner and it was so good. My sandwich was about 3 inches tall with meat. Then we went to a store, I don't remember the name but it had upscale merchandise for a lower price. I got a pair of my Not Your Daughter jeans for $50 and I usually pay over $100 for them. They are the best, they tuck your tummy and lift your hinney. We then went home and went to bed. I got up at 3:45 am on Wednesday, the alarm was
set for 4:00 so I got up before the alarm. I got into the shower and made room for Jennifer and Shawn to get ready. We had coffee and then off to the airport. Rich dropped us off and we went
in and checked in and went thru security, no problems. We went and got a little breakfast and then we boarded the plane, it was a none stop flight to San Fransisco Jennifer bought us a movie and we saw Mall Cop. It was sooooo funny. We didn't get to sleep we just were so excited. We saw snow on the mountains over Colorado and Utha. Went we got to San Fransisco we got the rental car and off to Petaluma. Petaluma is where American Graffiti was filmed. More to come.

Getting ready

So I have worked all week and today I worked til 5pm so I thought it would be a good day to get some shopping done for the California trip, so I went to Kohls and found some tops on clearance and I need so new undergarments since the ones I've been wearing are several years old. Now I have tomorrow morning and Monday after work to get the rest done.

So much to do.

So today was my only day off before our beach vacation that I won't be in California. I need a hair cut a pedicure, I need to go shopping for clothes, cuz mine don't fit. I need to do this before California not to mention the beach. My assistant gave me a gift certificate for a facial and a blow dry and style at an expensive salon cuz she didn't want it and she won it at a fund raiser.

Hot weather

Yesterday it was in the 80's and I was at a flea market with my best friend from Virginia. I met her at her hotel off the turnpike and we went to breakfast and then off to the flea market. A lot of the vendors liked there stuff to much. I found a beautiful crab pin to wear at the crab carnival. I also bought a sewing cabinet that opens out and has 8 places to keep my yarn. Today is my last day off that I will be home before we go to the beach. I will be off the 6th, 7th and 8th but I will be in California, then my next day off will be when we are traveling to Virginia. I don't know how I'm going to get everything together, I will have to utilize John to help. John received a tip last week of a big slab of Veal from a farmer. That was a nice tip.

Going to California

So my brother and two sisters called me today. I was at work on my day off because I had a visit from the regional pharmacy manager. We were last stop so I worked from 9-4 on my day off. So back to all of the phone calls, We are going to an Oakland A's baseball game while we are in California. Its going to be a great time. We have to pay $15 a bag to check but it is worth it because I didn't know how in the world I was going to pack in a carry on. I can't wait we are going to have a blast.

Annual Review and California Trip

I will be spending my 40th birthday in California with my 2 sisters. I can't wait, we are going to have a blast. I had my review on Thursday and I got a overall score of Competent. Thats all I
ever get and I think thats what they give to everybody unless you are really bad at your job and then you get a needs improvement.

San Francisco

Hello all, Hopefully I will be going to San Francisco in two weeks from tomorrow. I have to wait for my DM to say I can take a vacation Day because we will be gone for 3 days. So now I just realized that if I take a vacation day I have to cut my beach vacation a day short. I will ask my boss if I work 7 days the week before can I take 3 days off the next week. I also went to a meeting on my last vacation so he really owes me a day. I don't want to cut my vacation at the beach short. Hopefully he will work with me. I have to let Amy know tomorrow. This is a once in a lifetime chance for me to see California.

Vacation over

So Friday I went to a meeting for work and took a vegetable tray and 2 other people brought
veggie trays. The meeting was over at 3:30 and I took Randy home and then headed to Coatesville to drop off Anne Marie and I knew that traffic would be bad so I took the back way into Coatesville, while driving thru the south part of the city I saw one of the houses that had burned. I got home about 5 and then we loaded the car and headed to Virginia. We dropped John's mother off at Steve's house and then we headed to West Point. We got there about 9:30 and talked with my parents neighbors that have moved into there house they built. So we went in the kitchen of my parents house and my dad was making hot crossed buns yummy. Amy and Rich showed up shortly after us and we talked for a while and then all went to bed. We got up Saturday morning and Sandra, Jennifer, Amy and Maggie went to a pedicure for there birthday and Maggie got her fingernails painted. We stayed around the house most of the day and went for a walk downtown and then went up to Shawn and Sandras for some guitar hero fun. We got home about 11pm. We got up Sunday and Billy and Sandra went to Hardie's and go everyone breakfast. We didn't do much again this day. We played outside because it was nice out. We left my parents house about 5:30 pm and 95 was horrible. It tooks us 3 hours to get to John's brothers house to pick up his mom. We got home at 11:30.

day 6

Ok today me and John's mother left at 10am and headed to Annie's. We got there around 11:30. It was raining so I didn't drive as fast as I usually do. Maddy is cute as a button and I got to change her diaper. We went to the yarn shop and Annie showed us Yardley and New Town. Then we trecked back home. I decided to go to Walmart after dinner to get the stuff I needed to make the Vegetables and Dip to take to the meeting. When I got home John told me he drank all the milk so I ended up going to Walmart while his mom fixed dinner. After dinner I made my dip and cut up my veggies. I'm washing clothes so I can pack for the visit to Virginia for the weekend, cuz I plan to get home from the meeting and grab the dogs and get on the road. Of course that probably won't happen because John will probably have to work late. But whatever happens, happens. I think I'm going to map out to see if I can find a better way during rush hour to get to Steve's house.

day 5

So yesterday I went to Walmart and that was it. Thats it, thats all I did all day. Today isn't turning out much different. I got up I did do my Wii fit today but only 15 minutes of it. Maybe I will do the other 15 later. I have many friends that want to get together with me but they want to get together after work. Tomorrow we are going to visit Annie and Maddy so maybe that will heal my cabin fever. Friday I have a meeting for work and then we are leaving for Virginia for a visit. I have this orange spot on my garage and I think someone paint balled my house. I haven't checked the front of the house yet to see if we got hit more than once. I hope it washes off. I sure am glad they didn't hit my car. I'm really missing work but I think it is because i'm not doing anything. I like to stay busy and sitting around the house is not me.

day 4

Happy St. Patricks Day to all. I woke up this morning at 8am and I didn't even know that John was gone to work. I slept like a rock. The sun is out today yea. It hasn't been out at all all weekend or yesterday. I went to get my nails done yesterday and went to the Rite Aid beside the nail salon and talked to the manager. I found out from her that I won't be getting a bonus this year, which I didn't expect. I need to clean today, maybe since the sun is out it will inspire me. I found out that the meeting Friday should be over at 2 or 3. I'm hoping 2 that way I can get home at 3 and we can leave if John is home. The Vet just called and the dog food is in that I ordered. Maybe I'll go out there and pick that up and go to JC Penney's and see what they have to shop for. Or maybe I'll pick it up Thursday on the way to Annie's. I hate not knowing what I want to do. I don't feel like doing anything but I'll kick myself if I don't do something. It is supposed to be in the 60's tomorrow. Nice.

Day 3

I slept til 9ish this morning. I was up at 6am with Johns alarm but I went back to sleep until the stupid alarm went off again because he hit snooze instead of off. I made some coffee and checked out facebook and the news. I'm waiting to get on a conference call for work at 1pm. I'm hungry so I think I'm going to go get a bowl of cereal. I'm going to go get my nails done after my conference call because I'm planning on getting together with a friend tomorrow and Wednesday and go see Maddy on Thursday maybe. Thats my plan. I need to do the work around the house before I go visiting though. John's brother is coming for a visit next month so I need to get into the spare bedrooms and get them cleaned up.

Day 2

Ok let me tell you about last night first. We went to the party and we took a case of Beer. We talked and talked for a long time. I hadn't seen my friends in a long time. We played flip cup. In case you don't know about it I will tell you. You have two teams of 4 and you put some beer in each cup and one player from each team hits there cups together like cheers and then they tap there cups on the table then they drink and then they place there cup on the edge of the table upside down and they have to flip the cup so it stands up right, when the player does this then the next player takes there drink and so on and so forth and the first team that finishes wins. It can be a loud game and very competitive. It was fun. Ok so this morning I get up at 9am and I'm doing so laundry. I don't think it is going to be an eventful day. Maybe some more doing of the laundry, maybe some WII playing, and maybe just maybe I might change the sheets. Wah hoo. Happy Anniversay to me.

Vacation day #1

Well I slept til 8:30 am, got up made coffee, checked my email and face book. Then I checked my pants in the washer that I washed last night but there must of been a tissue in the washer because the pants, that I want to wear today were covered with little pieces of tissue, so I rewashed them. They still had a little tissue on them so I put them in the dryer for a while. Well now the pants fit better than they ever did, could be that I gained weight but I'm going with the shrinking in the wash/dryer. Then after a little of surfing the net I got in the shower and got myself all made up for the party. I even remembered my jewelry (I always forget to put it on). So now we are waiting for John, we are supposed to leave in 20 minutes, we should make it. I'm watching Big Fish on Tv while I'm writing this, The giant in the movie used to live in West Chester PA and he used to Bounce at a bar there (15 North) which I found out this week that is closed it's doors on Sunday. So tonight when we get home from the Birthday party we have a St. Patty's party to go to. What a fun packed first day of vacation.

Right after I left.

Today after I left the store my assistant called me to tell me that a customer had colapsed in the pharmacy and the pharmacists and tech proformed CPR until the Ambulance got there and still continued until the EMT's could switch places. They also shocked him 5 times but he still wasn't
breathing, they took him to the hospital. We found out later that he didn't make it. My employees are awsome to jump in and do CPR without even thinking. To give mouth to mouth to a stranger is couragous. Even medical personnel don't do it without a guard. I always say things happen for a reason. He could have gotten in him car and had a heart attack, then he could have hurt more that just himself. We think he had a massive heart attack. Also he died with people trying to save his life and he could have died all alone. I'm so proud of my employees. I don't think I could have done what they did today. Just another reminder that life is short, don't go to bed mad.

3 more DAYS

Only 3 more days till vacation. Yeah :) I don't know what I'm going to do yet. I don't know if John is taking the week off also. I have asked him several times and I'm kind of tired of asking, so if he does he does and if he doesn't he doesn't. I would like to do a good cleaning of the house. Wash the curtains, dust the stuff, vaccum behind and under the furniture. I'll let you know if that happens. I have to make something to take to the meeting on Friday and I don't know what I will take. Maybe a vegetable tray or a fruit salad. But with the funds not there I don't now how I'm going to swing it. These days there isn't any extra money. I pay bills and thats it, no extra. I need to get my nails done before the birthday party and St. Patty's day party I'm going to, so hopefully I can dig up the money for that.

5 days of work then vacation

Hello All,

So I have to work the next 5 days and then I will be on a much needed vacation. On Saturday we are going to a 90th birthday party for Aunt Rita in Philadelphia. Then we are invited to a St Patty's Day party in West Chester. I want to go to this party and I want John to go with me but I don't think he will or wants to. I've never gone to this party and not had to work the next morning. It would be fun to go and enjoy myself for a night. Sunday is our Anniversary, 12 years of marriage. It doesn't feel like that long. I don't have much planned for the week except I have to go to a meeting for work on Friday and then we are going to Virginia for the weekend for Jennifer, Amy and Maggie's birthday party.

Tuesday Off

Ok, I'm off today and what to do. Play my WII? Clean the house? Veg on the couch? Pick up my knitting? Read a book? What to do, What to do? John is off today too because of the weather, it is cold and snow covered outside. I'm going on vacation in 11 days so I could clean the house then. I really need a good dusting. But there is soooo much stuff to move to dust. And the allergy attack that will go with it, it doesn't sound like much fun to me. I would love to rearrange my living room and get a big screen tv. I don't know what I will do with all of my gnomes if I get a big screen tv.

Snowy Monday

So I woke up this morning at 6am and the ground was covered with snow. I drove to work with no trouble. I put the 4 wheel drive on and off I went. I saw a car sliding down a hill and a pickup truck trying to get thru an intersection and was turning sideways. While on my way to work my windshield cracked all the way across. The snow started falling really hard at about 8am and it snowed til the afternoon. The wind is strong also so the snow on the ground is now drifting back
onto the road.

Crazy Weather

Today it is supposed to be in the 60's, yesterday I woke up to snow and sleet then it warmed up to the 50's. Then on Monday and Tuesday we are supposed to get snow. Got to love it.

Day 6 with 4 left to go before a day off.

So one of my assistant managers is on vacation this week so I have worked everyday since last Friday. On that day off I did something I've wanted to do but never thought I would get to do, I went with my friend Beth to get a tattoo, her not me. It was cool. I looked through the pictures and there were some wild ones you can get. She go a dolphin on her shoulder on her back. So then I worked open to close (7:30am to 10:15pm) on Saturday and then 8:30am to 7:15pm on Sunday then Monday and Tuesday 1-10pm and then yesterday it was my truck day so I went in at 10am and worked til 10pm. Today I go in at 1 and work til 10pm and same thing tomorrow and then again open to close on Saturday and Sunday and my new District Manager won't let a manager have off on Monday so I'm taking Tuesday off. Wow. I'll be dead tired by then. I have a vacation coming up in two weeks. My first day of the vacation we are going to a 90th birthday party in Philly and then I'm invited to a St Pattys day party that night. Every year when I go to the St Pattys party I always have to work the next day and this year I don't so I can party hard but If John doesn't go with me then I won't because I'll have to drive home. I've been invited to spend the night but that won't happen.

Too much work not enough sleep

So Friday night I went to bed at 10pm because I had to work open to close on Saturday (15 hours) but when John came to bed he snored so bad all night I couldn't sleep and when he wasn't snoring Pickachin was. So Saturday night I went to bed and I shut the bedroom door because John was playing some game and he was talking really load. Then when he did come to bed he snored yet again. When my alarm went off this morning he stopped snoring. Ok I'm sleepy and I need to write some bills.

Undecided

Ok well I'm off today and I'm undecided on what I want to do. I want to go visit Maddy, but I have some much work to do around the house. I need to change the sheets on the bed, do the laundry, straighten up this living room, but If I go visit the baby maybe Annie can help me with my mistake I made on the baby sweater. I asked John if we can go, I have to get him off the computer. I need to plan out this trip. One hour there, visit for a while and then one hour back before dinner. If we leave at noon we could be home by 4 or 5 couldn't we? I would like to dye my hair. But I could do this on Friday. What to do What to do. Boy I need a vacation.

Changes again

On Friday we found out that the company was redistricting again so now I have a different District manager. He stopped by the store on Friday evening and he came knocking on my office door where I was reconciling a register with a pharmacy cashier. He said that the first impression of my store wasn't a good one and I said why whats the matter and he said the trash outside was overflowing. We empty the trash just about everyday but people empty there whole cars into them daily. So then he asked me about my monthly planner so I showed it to him and he said I was using the wrong one so I have alot of work to do. I worked all day today converting Valentines to Easter and working on my endcaps to get them like the planner. Tomorrow I'm in another store and Tuesday I'm off so I hope my girls do all they can to keep me from falling behind or I won't be able to take Friday off and I'm going to need it off because I won't have a day off the next week and also I have to work open to close on Saturday.

Weekend in Virginia

We go to West Point about 9:30 ish Friday night. We sat around and talked til 12:30 and we were back up at 7:30 am on Saturday morning. Daddy made cream chipped beef over corn bread (my favorite) and then I took the dogs to the Groomer, and stopped by Food Lion for some items for the party and then to Rite Aid for panty hose. Then we all went up to the church hall to set up for the party. We went back home to shower and change into our party clothes. Then off to the party. When I walked in and saw the cake that Charlie Little made for my parents it took my breath away. It was 5 layers with my parents original cake topper on the top. I saw people I hadn't seen in a long time. It was a wonderful time for all. We had a band that was very good and made the party, Momma and Daddy danced several times. Father Lee renewed there vows and gave them a Certificate of Marriage that was blessed by the Pope. As soon as John loads the pictures I will post some on here. After the party we went home and watched momma and daddy open all of the cards and some presents. Then me and John went to Shawn and Sandra's for some Wii play. This morning we got up and everyone went to church except for me and John because my parents phone was out and they were supposed to come and fix it between 9am and noon. When they got back from church daddy made a BIG breakfast. The weather was great this weekend today it was 70, we played outside.

awful story in news

I'm watching the news, waiting for John to get out of the shower so we can get on the road to Virginia and this story about a 6 year old boy that they found in a house while looking for a man that didn't report to court, the house had no heat just a space heater that the boy was sitting by and the house was filthy. They reported that the house didn't have heat and running water because the man they were looking for had cut out the copper pipes and sold it. I can't believe someone would do this. They found the man hiding in a closet. The boy is in foster care.

Busy Day

Well I went to work unloaded my truck got it all out then I went and had a pedicure and my nails done and went shopping for something to wear to the funeral because my assistant is going to work for me on Friday so that I can go to my friend Kathy's funeral. Then I went to pick up the dry cleaning for the party this weekend. Oh in case you didn't know me and my sisters and my brother is throwing my parents a 50th anniversary party. Now I must seperate ad signs for this weekend. I've been up since 3:30am I'm tired. I go into work tomorrow at 11am and work til 10pm. We've been eating out all week since John's mother is staying with Annie so tonight we went to Harry Hotdogs and I had Ham and Cabbage and John had a BLT and a Harry's hotdog. And I had a piece of Reese's peanut butter pie. Yummy.

Ideal Snow

Last night and today it snowed and snowed but it didn't stick to the roads. Looking out the window at work looked like I was looking into a huge snowglobe. It was beautiful to look at.
One of my friends died this week. I don't know what happened to her, she was feeling sick last Thursday and and I heard by Sunday she was in the hospital brain dead. Her funeral is Friday and I have to work. But I'm going to see if my assistant can leave early tomorrow when the truck is finished and come in for me Friday so I can go to the funeral.

Well worth all of the work

Today I got the results of my inventory and they were wonderful. I am so happy, all of that time and work paid off. My boss is happy and so am I. I got on the fit today and I didn't gain or loose any weight in two weeks. I'm glad I didn't gain but I wish I could of lost a little. I'm glad Pittsburgh won the Super Bowl. My parents party is this weekend, I can't wait. I'm going to see lots of people that I haven't seen in a while.

Guitar Hero

Last night I played my nephew John and his wife Britney and my brother in-law Billy over Wi-Fi in guitar hero and they kicked my butt in every song. My back was killing me I couldn't even sit down. I slept til 9:40 this morning. I guess I needed that.

Snow/sleet

This morning I woke up to ice hitting the window. I got in the shower and got ready for work and then I woke up John to take me to work. I cleaned the ice off of the car and warmed it up. We drove to work in 4-wheel drive, the first time I've had it in 4-wheel drive this winter, and it was pretty nasty. The rode was snow covered and then packed down with ice on top. I'm glad he drove me. The ride to work it about 20 minutes normally and it is mostly highway. But the commuters on the highway drive crazy. We had to be there at 5 am so not too many people were on the rode thank goodness. So me and John unloaded the truck and he stayed with me until someone showed up around 7:45 because he didn't want to leave me there by myself. The power went off for about 5 minutes after he left and I had opened the store, so did the McDonalds and Exxon station and the stop light but there didn't regain power until about noon. We finished putting out the truck before I left at 3pm. When we were coming home the roads were just wet and it was raining. So now I'm home cuddled up on the couch and thinking about making some hot chocolate.

Inventory Day

Well I worked till 10:30pm last night then came home and went to bed and got up this morning at 4:30am and left for work this morning at 5:30am with the snow coming down. Inventory went well, it was just a long day. My boss left before 2pm but the LP manager was still there and I couldn't leave till she left. Tomorrow is truck day and it is supposed to be messy in the morning with snow and ice. I'm so tired I think I'm going to bed. I think I could sleep for days.

Missed the Wedding

Well my nephew got married yesterday and I missed it because of my job. Is that dedication or what. And they don't appreciate it at all. I need to be doing this hard work for my own business not someone elses. John and his mom went to see Maddy and Aunt Rita and Kathy and Jay yesterday at Annie's. 15 houses in Coatesville PA were set on fire last night. There is a rash of
arsons in Coatesville and it is getting a little scary. Tonight the police were in my parking lot and they told us that someone started a fire at a restaurant down the street in the bathroom and they told us to keep an eye on our restrooms and if we see anyone suspicious to call 911. Woke up stuffy

I woke up this morning with my nose running, a sore thoat, and a headache. I took some airbourne, and advil and another homeopathic medicine that I can't spell. Last time it knocked it
right out of me so I hope it does this time too. I don't have time to be sick. I'm working long hours for the next 10 days and I have alot of work to do. After that I can be sick.

Visit with Madeline

Yesterday I went to see Annie and Madeline for a visit and I was able to help by taking Annie and Madeline to the doctors. She is doing great. I held her for a while then Annie fed her before we went to the drs. and she changed her clothes while I looked on. She dressed her in a little flower footed outfit and the feet looked like Mary Jane shoes. Soo cute. Whe got hot in the waiting room so she wimpered a bit and Annie picked her up and she was fine. Then we got back to the house and visited for a while longer and enjoyed some hot chocolate while Annie made dinner for her and Andrew and it smelled really good. So then it was time to leave cuz I had to get up this morning at 3:30am and we met John at Chili's for dinner. Wow they just announced that cigarettes may go up $1.00 a pack due to taxes to pay for child health care which is wonderful but John better quit.

Inventory

So I have inventory in 2 weeks from tomorrow. I need to work my but off for those next 2 weeks. I should be at work already but I'm just tooo tired. I'm off tomorrow and that will probably be the last day off until after inventory. Tomorrow I'm going to see Annie and baby Maddy. I can't wait to see her again and hold her. Annie is looking really good for just having a baby. So if you don't see a post from me for 2 weeks thats why, cause I'm waking up, going to work, coming home to sleep and repeat.

No Giants at the Super Bowl.

Well the Giants lost and John is acting like he lost his best friend.

Oh Deer

Today John got up and went to Timonium Maryland with his friend Dick to a Fishing Expo and Boat show. They also went to Bass Pro shop. John managed to spend a bit at the Bass Pro shop.
He has a gift card for $200.00 but he couldn't find it to make his purchase, but that is ok cuz he needs to spend that on his new trolling motor if he is going to get one. So I did my Fit workout this morning and played a little guitar hero and then went to work. We were supposed to get some snow today but we hardly got anything. So on the way home tonight I was driving on the bypass and it was dark and a little foggy and then all of a sudden there were two deer. Holy moses. I put on the breaks and tried to stop but went in between them and the one on the left
turned and ran into the back of my truck. I was shaking all over and got an instant headache. My blood pressure must of rose sky high. When I got home I looked over my baby and I didn't see any dents. Hopefully there isn't any tomorrow when the sun comes up.

Meeting Madelyn

Me and John went to the hospital yesterday to meet out niece. When we got there Annie was there by herself with Madelyn (I don't know if I'm spelling her name right) so I held her first and she is soooooo adorable. She is so beautiful. John held her for a while when my arm started hurting. Then I got her back again with the boopie pillow and she slept for about 2 hours in my arms. Then back to uncle John and she didn't even wake up but she did do a poop I think. Then visiting hours were over and we had to leave. Andrew and Mom did come back during our visit and then they went out for dinner. I got an email this morning saying that me and John have the touch and Annie and Maddie slept well last night which is great news. I'm planning on going to visit on Monday if the weather permits. I came home and played guitar hero for a while and did my workout with the fit. I was up at 3:30 am yesterday and I was so ready for bed last night.

I'm bored

I'm on my 4th 7th Heaven show today, it must be a marathon. I need John to get out of his computer room so I can clean the carpet. I want to go to 5 guys to eat but I don't know if John is up to it. I need to go out and get some food if we don't go out. Amy and Jennifer are going full force getting the 50th anniversary party plans underway. Amy is making pictures for the center pieces and Jennifer is constructing the center pieces. My nephew is getting married Janurary 24th and the anniversary party is February 7th. I can't go to the wedding because my inventory at the store is Janurary 27th. Momma is having knee surgery on Feb. 10th. I wish I could stay home that week to help Jennifer take care of her but that would mean we would have to take 2 cars down. John is going to go stay a week with his daughter to take care of her while she has surgery. I guess Mardi Gras is out of the question.

new packaging

So have you seen the new packaging for Oreo cookies? It is fabulous but I have always had this issue with going to get the cookies and they look like they haven't been touched and I pick up the cookies and they are all gone but maybe one or two. Well this happened to me last night I reached in for the package of Oreo's and they still looked sealed up and I said to myself wow he didn't find the oreo's well much to my suprise they were only 5 left in the pack. The new packaging has a reseal top that you peel back and reseal so they don't get stale. Theres nothing worse than a stale Oreo.

Weekend off

Wow I'm off all weekend. I don't know what I'm going to do with myself. Annie this would be a great time to have the baby. This is the first weekend off in a long long time that I don't have to
go anywhere or do anything. I wanted to go to the train show in Oaks but my car cost me $180 to get the sand out so I think I should not spend any money. There is a family fun center up in Oaks also and they have go carts you can drive and it costs $20 each. I would like to do that sometime, but when someone goes with me that will have fun. I don't think John would enjoy it as much as I would. I also wanted to take John to 5 guys for burgers and fries but he is sick and doesn't have an appetite and is achy all over. So I think I will stay at home and clean the house. Wow sounds like fun :(

Getting the sand out

Well my car is at the dealership for an appointment tomorrow to get the sand out of the air conditioner/heat. When we were at the beach back in October, our house was right on the beach and we parked on basically on the dune. It was very windy while we were there and my car got
full of sand everywhere. Now when you turn on the heat you get covered in sand. Also the fan isn't working so I have to bang on the dash to get it started. I think we are in for snow tomorrow morning but not much. It is getting cold. Yesterday it was sooo windy here that our patio table was tossed around the yard and the glass top broke. We went to Cracker Barrel for dinner since we had to drop my car off and I had turkey and dressing and fried Okra and sweetpotatoe cassarole and it was very good. John didn't have much of an appetite so he had eggs and sausage. Ok I have to go workout on the Wii fit now.
